Today, the group met and discussed the tapes for the promo project that will be done on the TnCIS Study Abroad program. Arrangements were put into action to get the footage that we need for the project. Ann was absent today, but Jayy supplied the activities for the log for the day.
February 3, 2011
The group officially gets the TnCis footage from Trent. We meet and talk about what we want to do about scheduling and the projects. We discuss a new title for the program and Erik suggests “The Business”. The group agrees. Jon is not here today because he is sick.
February 5, 2011
We meet in the Bagwell studio to shoot footage for the commercial. We decide to go upstairs to film a continuous shot but run into trouble when we get to the stairwell to shoot concerning lighting and audio. We go to the studio and discover that the camera we are using is not in good shape so we get another camera that won’t adjust to show the playback video. We go back again and get a camera that is in good working order but I have to remount and balance it on the steadicam. At this point, we decide to scrap this advertisement and brainstorm ideas for more of an infomercial type project that we will begin to shoot next week. Jon was still sick today and was absent.
